What's the best time of year to visit Granada in Spain?

I'd say late spring or early autumn when there are fewer tourists and the weather is cooler.

I've been there in each season, and enjoyed it each time. My favorite time was in October.

Don't let weather deter you from going. Do research on what there is to see and do...a mixture of inside and outside activities. Then, if the weather doesn't cooperate, you've already figured out all the 'inside' things you see and do. Granada's an amazing place in any season, inside or outside. Have great trip.

Not today its raining on the coast........................!

MAY or June! Any later, and the daytime is pretty hot, and the flowers are all in bloom!

Been there in October, June, and April. Kinda drab in april, and, while the flowers were in bloom in October (and gorgeous! I might add) the sky was a bit gloomy, as is fairly typical.

May and June, not TOO hot, and the flowers are all in bloom in the gardens.

but it really doesn't matter...Granada is still gorgeous, any time!

I would say May early June ( Granada has a music festival late June/July and hotels can be expensive and busy.

Or mid September.

Winter it is very cold and summer very hot.

Granada is great to visit all year long. There is always something going on. January has an average temperature of 42.8ºF but with maximum levels of 68ºF. In August the average temperature is 77ºF with highest levels of 104ºF. Rainfalls are scarce. During the summer it almost does not rain at all.

So, depending on your own personal preference, you could really have a good time any time. Great tourist region. Lots of people speak English. Interesting historical sites to see.
