It does get cooler towards the end of the year,I've been in November and it was a bit cooler but still very hot. It just goes cooler earlier on. It can be a little windy but there's always a breeze in Tenerife too. I've been to Playa Blanca a good few times and would rather go there if it was raining and snowing than to Tenerife again. Lanzarote is so much nicer ,the restaurants are newer and better kept and the people are friendly. |

Generally pleasant; mid to lower twenties. It can feel colder on the open beaches, where the wind is often strong, whipping up the sand. Ideal to have accommodation with a pool and sunbathing area, where it will be more comfortable on such occasions. |

We went to Lanzarote a couple of years ago at the end of November/December. It was quite warm, we definitely needed the suntan lotion, but it was also quite cloudy. We'd been to the Canaries before around this time of year and not had as much cloud so we weren't sure if this was just Lanzarote or a fluke! But it was still a great holiday! |

I've lived over in Lanzarote for a while now and very pleased to say that the last 4 Christmas days the temp was around 24-26 degrees. As a side note, the night time through December can feel quite cold, mainly due to the temp difference from day to night (20 something degrees to 9-13 at night). It will be worth you bringing a jacket or jumper when your out at night. |
