Here - All you wanted to know about Spain, from the CIA website, no less.

Spain is many countries all rolled into one therefore the culture in Spain is very varied and interesting. Its Atlantic shores and the huge plains of the interior have very distinct characteristics. Similarly, the Mediterranean Costa's change ‘flavour’ as they sweep down from the Pyrenees through the pine forests of the Costa Brava and Costa Dorada. From the picturesque orange blossom coast of the Costa del Azahar, past the stunning beaches of the Costa Blanca and Costa Calida, the landscape finally becomes semi-arid as we approach the Costa de Almeria. In contrast, we turn west to discover the Lush green fairways of the Costa del Sol.

I'm Spanish, 30. I'll try to depict a typical profile in a few words:

- live the present, know how to enjoy each moment
- happy, open, friendly
- open to foreign people
- VERY noisy :p
- Exagerated (you should believe half of what they tell)
- lazy but do not sleep much (go late to bed)
- love the family (the big one, from grandpas, uncles, etc, etc)
- into huge debt (most wish to buy a house, no rent).
- big money spenders (mainly going out for dinner, drinks, weekends, summer vacations). Spend more than they can.
- Love going out: you can party until late even during the week. A traffic jam in madrid a 2.00 a.m. on Tuesday is normal.
- not well informed (poor newspapers readers)
- not too educated, love popular culture instead.
- above 40, religous. below, less (except in the South)
- open but traditional (this would mean an extensive explanattion)
- complain a lot, but resign :)
- consum a lot of tabloid press
- love to gossip
- work for long hours but poor performance (stay at the office until very late)
- politics: more of left wing
- envious
- generous
- supportive
- show off (like toreros!!!), especially people from Madrid
- big tv watchers
- bad foreign languages speakers
- good healthy home-made meals cookers
- not too fat
- not too tall
- care about the esthetic
- instead of blaming stealers, swindlers, etc, they tend to consider shrewd (this is curious, in my opion)

that's all I can think about!!! of course it depends on the region but, basically, this is it (I think I match with almost all of it).

besos!

Spain is pretty, but it is a cruel country
they abuse there animals very badly
even though spainsh peopl are nice, they can also be very rude and annoying becuase Spain is not a civilized country
except in the Far far south of Spain because that place is occupied by Ukiens.
Spain is not as nice as you would have thoughten
