I don't know where carol p lived exactly, but I assure you we eat a lot of beef and lamb. Also pig. And from goats milk we make cheese and "cuajada". Don't really know if you have a word for it. And the animals rights have been there my whole life. I suppose that during the Franco's dictatorship there weren't any, but people didn't have either. That's what a dictatorship is about. But if you are talking about wild life, we have a wide variety of birds and the typical mammals. Rabbits, mouses, rats, burrowing rodents... And some special ones like the Iberian Lynx, which is one of the most endangered species in the world. Mostly because their habitat is disappearing. Also the imperial eagle is an endangered specie. And of course, the wild bull used in bull fighting. I'm not a fan of it but I know that without that, they would be extinguished. Horses are another typical animal from Spain. I believe it comes from Arabs who conquered Spain for 800 years. It's famous the Andalusian horse. In the north, in the mountains, we have smaller horses but stronger. We also have donkeys. In fact we have a lot of animals. Even the ones brought from another continent that are killing our own species.
But we have very different wildlife in the south and in the north. We have a very different weather. And don't get me started in what you can find in the islands. Specially in the Canary Islands. Look it up, you'll see.
As for pets, the normal ones. Dogs, cats, birds, hamsters...
Religion? Mostly catholic, but there are lots of Muslims and a few other religions but they don't have many followers. Also, atheists.
Clothes the same as any other western country.

Spain is still, although no longer by law, largely Catholic. There are representatives from pretty much any religion there, today.

And, for the rest of your questions....they wear (note correct spelling) clothing...just like any other people do! And you need to do a bit of research on your own.

There are a wide variety of animals in Spain, both wild and domesticated. You can find that by searching "Spain". If you pull up the Wikipedia page, I'll bet you can even get a break down of how many or what percentage of people follow which religions.

Roman Catholic 94%, others 6%

Check out this link for further information...hope it helps somewhat...have a great day.

If being baptized and having a Catholic funeral means being Catholic, then it is true that most Spaniards are Catholic. But if it means going regularly to the church and obey all the rules set by the Vatican, then the number dramatically drops to a minority.

Do you know for example that Spain is one of the few countries in the world where gay marriage is legal and that gays couples can even adopt children? And the most of the population aproves of gay marriage?

Believe it or not, Spanish society nowadays is much more tolerant than in other European countries or than in the USA.

carol p
roman catholic is the main religion as for animals they have lots of horses millions of goats and pigs they don't eat a lot of beef or lamb things are changing now for animals here they are getting better with stricter laws it used to be awful as the spanish think that animals have no soul so are entitled to nothing and most were just left to starve if the owner got fed up with them you still see quite a lot of fettered animals but that is now illegal (fettered means that there front legs are tied together to restrict there movement ) as for clothes same as any european country
