The most important thing for people in Spain is their family without a doubt , and then financial stability as work contracts are usually very short term, and most people,s dream is to have a permanent job.freedom is also important as until 1975 Spain was not a democratic country. People also consider eating well to be very important and they always have good healthy homecooked meals ( not that they don,t like a McDonalds now and then) Also i have never seen a dirty home here EVER and i,ve been here 20 years. |

Same as everywhere else. Good health, a good job, freedom, to be financially secure, to own a house, to have a car, good education and health care. To be happy.
Specifically Spanish things are being able to afford to eat and drink out in restaurants and bars, futball, fiestas, the way of life.
Freedom is important. Only a few years ago, Spain was a dictatorship. Older people remember this; the young can only wonder. |
