Have a look at 'www.sispain.org.' and 'wwwgospain.org.'

Spain is a big country and customs in Barcelona are very different from, say, Jerez in the South.

The big ones for foreigners are; the late dinner times; the fact that no-one in Madrid seems to sleep; queueing / standing in line etiquette (or the lack of it); the importance to Spaniards of not ' losing face'; the bad and often drunken driving; the really terrible road signs; FIESTAS!; going to the beach in summer time.

I could go on.

Wow there are so many.. I guess the main one would be the eating times..

Breckfast is small . Like Coffee, and a crossant etc at about 10 am.. Then Lunch is the Largest meal of the day ( its dinner but bewteen 2pm and 3pm).. Then the typical siesta ( about an hour , 30 min after lunch).. A Snack at about 6pm and a very lite meal ( like a sandwich or fruit etc at 9 or 10 pm).. Its hard to get use to especially me being american he he, but after 10 months here i got use to it...

Here´s a link with more customs.. Enjoy
