The Spanish flag only as two colors (red and yellow).

It is three horizontal stripes: red, yellow and red. - The yellow stripe as the Spanish Coat of arms emblazoned on it.

Our Constitution, most important law... like the Magna Carta in the UK, says that above about the flag.

The flag of Spain, as it is defined in the Spanish Constitution of 1978, is three horizontal stripes: red, yellow and red, the yellow stripe being double the width of each red stripe.

The Spanish flag is a three striped one. The stripes of its bottom and top are red. And the middle stripe are yellow and it is the double than any yellow one. And the official flag should have our coat of arms in its middle. It's very difficult to explain the coat of arms. It has the castles and lions which depict the old kingdom of Castille; the bars the old kingdom of Aragon; pomegranate depicts Granada; the chains depict kingdom Navarre; the flowers depict Bourbon family who are our royal family. The flag is flanked by two columns with the motto: " plus ultra" which means " further". And finally there is a crown on the top of the flag. The pieces of the top of this one are sharped and no flat.

And by the way, altough our constitution only says it is a yellow and red three striped flag, if you read a foreign office page you can read that it has to be used with the coat of arms for instance in an embassy or in a town council
It's in Spanish but you can see the flag. And I'm very sorry if I made any mistake with the English.
