The closest country to Cordoba Spain is Portugal which is due west of it. Morocco is the same distance as Portugal but you would have to cross the Strait of Gibraltar to get there. Andorra and France are northeast of Spain.

You mean counties instead of countries? If so... in Spain they are called provinces... Those surrounding Cordoba are: Ciudad Real, to the north, Badajoz to the northwest, Seville to the west, Málaga to the south and Jaen to the east

Córdoba is pretty much in the middle of AndalucÃa (or rather, north of the center). There are no *countries* that surround the city. It is surrounded by much Spain, but no countries. It's easily three hours' drive to the Portuguese border.
