What are your favorite towns in Analudcia?

What are your favorite towns in Analudcia?

Heading to Spain for 8 or 9 days in Nov. My plan is to fly into Madrid and spend 2 nights there. Then take the high speed train and head to Seville for 2 nights. Then 2 or 3 nights in Ronda... then Granada and possibly Cordoba. Would you recommend staying in Granada or Cordona overnight? Any other must see towns? I will probably pass through Acros de la Frontera. If I were to pick a quaint town on the water... which one would be best? I want to see some variety, but want to be able to relax and not try and squeeze too much in.

Thanks!
Additional Details
I will be hiring a car in Seville, and most likely flying out of Malaga.

i love visiting big cities when i'm abroad, but they are often so big that you can't really get a full feeling for the place. don't ignore the smaller places!
some of the medium sized and small towns have as much atmosphere, but they are easier to "understand", and you can become familiar with them very quickly - i think its a nice when you feel you know your way around a little!
the area i know best is directly north of malaga, and the towns there are hot, friendly and full of atmosphere - antequera is my favourite, but also iznajar, lucena, la rambla, fuente de piedra.
on the coast? just east of malaga is a beach called el palo. it's for spanish toursists, so has a different feel to the places built up to keep the english happy. look for chirringuitos on the beach - sardines and big prawns grilled to order! (but check the price first)

You don't say what transport from Sevilla to Arcos, Ronda, Cordoba and Granada. I take it you fly back to Madrid from Granada?
I can't advise you unless you tell me how you intend to travel. I live in Andalucia and I've been to those places. If you are not hiring a car, then you will be doing a lot of travelling.

You should be at least in Seville, Granada and Córdoba.

I like Granada. Much better than Córdoba...I'd suggest staying there. (don't miss Córdoba, though).

Looooooove Ronda!

And if you're looking for quaint on the coast, I think Nerja is supposed to be really nice. (I'm not terribly familiar with the coast there...I know a bit about west of Cádiz, and the north. I didn't care much for Málaga, but didn't spend enough time there to know...photos I've seen of Nerja are beautiful, and I know people who have lived there. Very pretty!)

My top three are Granada, Seville, and Ronda.

For a recommendation on a few places to stay, try Hotel America in Granada. It' s really close to the Alhambra, and it's cheaper than the Parador, plus it's super charming.

In Ronda though, i would recommend the Parador since it's right on the edge of the canyon (plus, one guy who works in the bar/restaurant kinda looks like Dennis Hoffman, so it's funny to get people to keep calling him that when they go there).

In Seville, try and go to Los Gallos, it's a great Flamenco bar
