What arethe rules for community pools in spain?

need to know the spanish law appertaining to community swimming pools.

Joan el guiri
The residents make the rules. A copy of the rules is sent to all residents.

You may find them posted near to the pool but do not expect to see them on your language, (ours are in Catalan).

Most are common sense health & safety considerations such as 'take a shower before entering the pool'.

Spanish laws are not the strictest on these pools because the pools are private property and not open to the public.

Most communities employ a pool cleaning company to keep the pools clean; otherwise you have to maintain the ph and chlorine levels yourselves.

If you are wanting to formulate rules for a pool, you could do worse than follow the latest French legislation which ensure that access is controlled. Too many children drown in private pools.
Your pool manufacturer can help too.

Spain is not England. If you want a nanny state, stay in England and be told what to do by Scottish government ministers!

Depends on the complex

Ruth P
Community pools in Spain are for use only by people living in, or guest of, the apartments and villas they serve. The maintainence of them is provided by the community and paid for by the annual community fees.
