I think Spain is a top place, the weather is a lot better than the UK, there aren't cctv cameras watching you everywhere. you pay less tax than us, It's cheaper to live there. The transport infrastructure is massively superior to the UK's. Siesta's are very civilised. The food is healthier. The people aren't as xenophobic as the majority of British are.
Come to think of it, why the devil am I still living in England??????? |

The Basque Country has been my home for the last 14 yrs. I have travelled all over the rest of Spain. I`m pretty happy here. I think the Spanish lifestyle has a lot more to offer than the British. My son is Spanish.
(One "pega" Spanish people can be more rude on a daily basis than English people. ) |

The English Love your Country and People.
They like your weather, your food ,your very cheap booze and cigarettes and you try and make them feel like being at home (even though some English people can be very demanding and very rude.)
I, an Englishman ,salute you and wish you and your countrymen well. |

Spain is probably the most popular holiday destination for British people. It is inexpensive to get here, the sun shines all day long and it is cheap to eat out.
I live here, I moved here two years ago. I am trying to integrate. I've learnt Spanish and I have Spanish neighbours. I am now a resident and I love everything about this country. |

well 2 million English people now live on the Spanish Costas and millions more visit as tourists (it is the most popular destination for British tourists) so no matter what people may say on here, you can be sure that most English people like Spain very much!
if anything it's the lower class English expats/tourists that spoil it a bit. |

I have been to most parts of Spain and the people are GREAT!. Just got back from Northern Spain, and had one of the best holidays for ages. Pity N.Spain is not made more aware to us here in the U.K. A visit to Santiago De Compostela is a must!!!!! |

I like Spain, its mountains and cities. However, its coast, once beautiful, are being treated with greed. Spain is losing the beauty of its coast in the name of tourism.
On the other hand, Spain is a great place to eat, drink and drive around. As the Italians and Greeks, Spaniards are enjoyable people. |

Well I'm not english, but I would love to visit spain. But if i do, it would probably be to protest bullfights. If they no longer had those, I could have a much more desirable vacation there. |
