All of the above plus a good laid back attitude, plenty of sun tan lotion, decent pair of trousers to get in the nightclubs, sometimes they refuse people wearing trainers so take some shoes too. Don't put too much in your case, leave some room to take some cigs back. Learn at least the very basics of Spanish because it will be well appreciated
Don't forget your smile as you will be wearing it a lot when you get here
Have a great time

Definately a passport, EHIC which is a european health insurance card (it covers you for any such medical issues... definately apply for one). Possibly a travel guide and a phrase book if you want to see the true Espana, you have to make an effort with the lingo, me being a translator I should know hehe!!! Very friendly people, definately get a map if your hiring a car! Trains are very efficient but again it's better if you know a couple of phrases. Generally near the tourist resorts english is widely spoken but remember in areas like Barcelona and the catalan region they speak a different form of spanish, catalonian which is a mixed dialects of spanish and french really. If you just stick to castellian (normal spanish) you'll be grand, everyone will understand you!!! Have a great trip and don't drink too much sangria (really that stuff is nasty hehe)!! Hasta Luego! xx |

Do you mean documents? Of course a passport and some sort of ticket or tickets. I always fly now, it's so quicker. To drive it works out expensive what with the channel and crossing France. I hate the drive - much too long. |

Hmm, I suggest at least a car, or perhaps a bus, train, or plane would do, any of those would be much better than riding a bike or walking...:) LOL |
