corridas de toros.

"Corridas de toros".
A horrible spectacle held in a ring-shaped building (something similar to Roman amphitheaters, like the coliseum) in wich a man called "torero" (bullfighter) or "matador" pricks a bull, then confuses it using a red piece of textil material and at the end kills with a sword a bull, by following a kind of traditional ritual.
Some bullfighters are very popular, and are followed by paparazzi everywhere, just like actors or singers. And a lot of them have died practicing it.
Some Spaniards love this "shows", and consider them a kind of art, and a nice Spanish tradition.
Some other Spaniards are totally against it.
A Spanish citizen (from Castilla y León)

The name is "corrida de toros" and it is very popular in AndalucÃa (south of Spain).
Specially in Sevilla on April Fair.
