Its correct it means floor level one, flat 1a

Good question.

You have it wrong unfortunately. It should read 1짧, 1쨘.

That is primera planta (first floor), primer piso ( flat one).

So C/ Mayor 96, 3짧, 2쨘, is High Street number 96, 3rd floor , flat 2.

I find, from experience, that for UK purposes it is better to say Calle Mayor 96 - 3- 2 because that works with most UK accounting systems.

Sorry but I think that all the others have it wrong. The floor (f)comes first, then the flat (m) number, Floor /planta is feminine, flat / piso is masculine. Sorry to be pedantic, but it is important to get addresses correct or your letters will not arrive.

That means, in a building, the first floor (1쨘 - piso primero) and the appartment labeled as "1st" (1짧 - primera puerta). Probably in england or the U.S. that would be 1A.

Yes it is correct. I lived in Spain for 10 years and it is used to tell you what floor of an appartment the person is on.

Yes. They are shorthand for primero and primera - "first". Primero being masculine and primera feminine.
I live in Spain and that's an okay part of the address.
