Good question.
You have it wrong unfortunately. It should read 1ª, 1º.
That is primera planta (first floor), primer piso ( flat one).
So C/ Mayor 96, 3ª, 2º, is High Street number 96, 3rd floor , flat 2.
I find, from experience, that for UK purposes it is better to say Calle Mayor 96 - 3- 2 because that works with most UK accounting systems.
Sorry but I think that all the others have it wrong. The floor (f)comes first, then the flat (m) number, Floor /planta is feminine, flat / piso is masculine. Sorry to be pedantic, but it is important to get addresses correct or your letters will not arrive. |
