What environmental issues does Barcelona have?
I'm planning on visiting Barcelona in the Spring, and I can't find anything. Please Help.
Stay in or near the Ramblas (hotels) or in the Gothic Quarter just to the east. This is a good base from where you can explore the city's sights by day including Gaudi's masterpiece, the unfinished Sagrada FamĂlia Cathedral, and Parc GĂĽell in the north see http://www.spain4uk.co.uk/places/barcelona.htm for more details.

I'd agree on the air pollution problem. Also, I'd try to avoid wearing sandals. You'd find yourself washing your feet quite a lot than you'll expected due to the air pollution.
Other than that, Barcelona is a fun place filled with good food, fun people, and beautiful buildings.
