What is Barcelona known for? |
If someone is going to Barcelona, what are some cool souvenirs and/or stores to shop at? I'm looking for not typical souvenirs like T-shirts, but just anything that Barcelona is known for. I know that cigars are one. Please respond ASAP since they're leaving tomorrow. Thanks!!

Sailcat's right about the bullfighting.
For souvenirs there's a lot of beautiful glassware inspired by Gaudi.
Barcelona is famous for architecture and Catalunya is the home of Dali, Miro and other more contemporary artists.
Just because you can buy cigars from the Canary Islands, Cuba, Andorra, etc. does not make BCN famous for cigars in any European's eyes. You can buy those anywhere in Spain. |

If you want good souvenirs, and see an incredible building under construction, go to La Sagrada Famlia. The building have a good store in the basement.
