What is a better location to study Spanish in Spain in August, Alicante or Valencia? |
I am a student going to study spanish in Spain for the whole month of August. I need to decide between the citys of Alicante OR Valencia. I would like to know the pros and cons of both cities and personal opinions and what one would be the better for a stay of 4 weeks. I would not want to get bored, what one has the best beaches, food, things to do! Also, what city has the best options for travel to other parts of Spain.

Either city, you will not get bored fantastic marina in Alicante,vibrant nightlife in both cities Valencia more cultural, I myself would say for the time you are there Alicante for a student would be best and you can travel anywhere in Spain by bus or train easily,Valencia city is approx 90-120mins from Alicante. |

In Valencia they speak a different type of Spanish which is Valencian, which is only spoken in that part of the region.
In Alicante we speak Castellano, which is the main type of Spanish that everyone speaks. |
