La Sagrada Familia, Christopher Columbus monument at the end of Las Ramblas ( which is another land mark)... Plaza Cataluña, EL Castillo de Monjuic..

These are just a few of the favorites..

Take care..

sagrada familia, (sorry, i think i misspelled), but it's a church that they have been building for hundreds of years. it's really intricate and beautiful.

The Templo de la Sagrada Familia is possibly the most recognizable. There are many.

Barcelona has a beautiful and large old town (the Gothic district or Barri Gòtic) and excellent samples of vanguardist and modern architecture, but the things that make the city so famous are the typical catalonian-modernism, especially the "Sagrada Familia" temple, the symbol of Barcelona, and a lot of buildings in "Paseo de Gracia" (an avenue), the Güell Park, the Güell Palace, the Palau de la Música Catalana...
The catalonian modernism is like a mix of vanguardist and traditional designs, with a fantasy style, like went out of a Dream.
Stop talking about the catalonian modernism, the Agbar Tower is also one of the most recognizable buildings of the city, it's a modern skyscrapper, coloured of red and blue by night (with the lights on), both are the colors of the Barcelona Soccer Club too.
And, yes, don't forget the Ramblas and the pubs, bars, shops, artists (and prostitutes) around!!!
