great in Corallejo especially.
I've been three times. It's a volcanic Ireland, looks like you'd imagine Mars in places but lots of sun - windy though.
The beaches are super in many areas.
Went to the Imagine Piano Bar in corralego & saw Eric Sjypestein playing last time & he had a guest Howard Moss - it was the greatest musical night ever.
Yes go to Fuerteventura, also great value, ate at the HONG KONG chinese in corralejo , fantastic.

Supposed to be beautiful but its name means strong winds and it is meant to be very windy. I wouldn't recommend it as a winter holiday destination.

Sand dunes in Correlejo, clubs in Costa Calma and Germans in Jandia! Its a really lovely island and I would recommend it to anyone. Also handy for day trips to Lanzerote! Sometimes its a little windy though as fuerte ventura means strong wind in Spanish.

it can be very windy and if the wind is blowing off africa you can get sandstorms

Recommended. There are fantastic beaches with clear blue sea, the interior is like desert, and there's loads to do.

Try a jeep safari (prepare to get dirty), or camel ride. If you've got a bit of cash, a helicopter tour of the island will take your breath away.

Good surfing, I believe (not my kind of thing).

Food and drink fairly cheap, year round sunshine.

If you're going, I'm jealous.

It's very nice - hot, lovely beaches, sometimes it's quiet but there's lots to see and do.

Supposed to be windy! good for watersports though. Fairly quiet place.

Much prefered Lanzarote.

Fuerteventura, is one of the busiest of the Canary Islands airports. See http://www.spain4uk.co.uk/balearic_canary/fuerteventura.htm
