Well,I´m from Spain...so I have to tell you it´s very nice...different cultures, languages, views, ways of thinking, different types of buildings and styles depending on the part of Spain you wish to visit.
I have to recommend Catalonia,as I´m Catalan, very beautiful...but I have to tell you that I´ve visited almost all the country and it´s all nice.Andalucia is very nice as well, the centre, the north...everything....
About the people....like everywhere.Nice warm people !!!!!!
Good luck and I hope you have a nice time!!!
If you need further information, email me...a pleasure!

Gorgeous, and Beautiful!

I went to Granada, Toledo, Madrid, Sevilla, Coasta Del Sol and I loved it!!!!!! I wish I had went to Barcelona though.. :( tears....

I went a few years ago, people were friendly but there is that anti-american view they have so if you are american be prepaired. Some people might make comments about you, but there are plenty of other nice people.

We went to a few stores that would not sell us anything, and they knew we were american before saying a word. I had taken spanish 3 years, but they knew by the way you look.

People are very friendly, not like the north of Europe. It is very hot in the summer. The stores and restaurants usually closes for siesta time in the early afternoon and re-opens later on.
There are a lot of nice things to see.

I was only in Spain for two weeks, but I enjoyed it.

And of course it is pretty , as all countries have their beauty.

I stayed in Torremolinos on the south coast near Malaga, But ventured to Granada, and Seville

I would go back to spain for a visit.

The people are as beautiful as the country. You will love the view.

I've lived in Spain, and just went back recently. It's one of my favorite places in the world! Warm, not just the climate, but the people, and I just love the whole package...culture, language, history, parties, people, food!!! (love the food!).

If you want to see some photos...email me. I posted almost everything I ever shot there online, for family, but Most of them are public, so...

Well my family has a house near Barcelona and it is beautiful. The towns are much different than in America but there is great shopping! I do admit that it would be cooler if it was less touristy but still. i suggest going into the country side as like a day trip. my family lives in north Spain in the basque country and its so cool. The people are very nice and sociable probably because they grow up in very family orientated families oh and the guys aren't bad either... As for things to do there are just so many! beautiful beaches, fun night life shooppppinng and fabulous food!

If you visit Spain i hope you have a great time !

I really like Spain. I lived in Blanes for about a year and loved it.

What most AmeriKans don't seem to realize is, the 40th line of latitude, which goes through BOULDER, COLORADO also goes just a few miles north of Cordoba, which puts most of Spain, and almost all of Europe, at a higher latitude than DENVER or INDIANAPOLIS or Des Moines, so that means Spain AND most of Europe is COLD in the winter.
