The construction sector in Spain has pretty much dried up now, so tourism is very important, but like most countries I.T. is up and coming and there are very many professional people. Agriculture doesn't play such an important role as say 50 years ago because of falling prices and importation of fruit and vegetables from other countries.

In spain, like most of Europe people work in the services sector, remember that spain is a tourist country. There is a lot of construction going on in spain (that is reserved usually to immigrants). There is a lot of agriculture going on in the south too.
You might like to check the internet for accurate data! and true, people in SPain love partying but they do not torture animals!

There is still plenty of agriculture going on, apart from that it's pretty much like anywhere.
