For me personally..... Palma Nova, the Don Bigote hotel.
Palma Nova is ideally situated for the nightlife in Magaluf (3.50e taxi ride), 1 hour bus ride to Palma, 25/30 minutes bus ride to Santa Ponsa (another resort ideal for a day trip) and of course Palma Nova itself has pubs etc, but not too rowdy like Magaluf.
Daytime, Palma Nova is lovely for walks, shops etc. And Magaluf is a pleasant walk too. The beach is lovely.
I have stayed in the Don Bigote hotel twice and its lovely and clean. The food is excellent too with plenty of choice. It is situated 5 mins from bus stop, 5 mins from nearest pub and 5 mins from the beach.
Where ever you go, enjoy! |

It depends whether your into beaches or mountains. The mountains up north are spectacular and many stars have their homes there. If your into beaches and night life, you won't go far wrong with Magalluf |

any of the port or harbour areas, contain movement, interest, and available facilities.they are also good for general beach access,it is cooler on the front areas and everywhere is but a short drive.the night life is in these areas as well so you can leave the car for sightseeing. Just a few things to consider, best of luck, you will have a good holliday, it is a lovely place. |

First of all, the islands name is Mallorca and nothing else.
It depends on what you are looking for: the drinking miles of Playa de Palma, sailing: Alcudia, hiking:the north.
Contact the spanish turism office, they will give you a lotof suggestion. And don´t forget the local turism office, in case you booked a package tour. |

Puerto Pollensa is a quiet resort and great beaches but might be too quiet if you have kids! |

Depends what you are looking for. Nightlife, long, sandy beaches etc?.....Magaluf; Family resort with sandy beach?.....Alcudia; Coves, eating out, shopping, marina? .......Cala D'Or; Quiet resort, lovely cove, cliff walk, nice shopping centre?........Calas De Mallorca (my favourite) and many others. Majorca has something for everyone. |

Depends what you are looking for. Puerto Pollensa is lovely, but a bit quiet if you are after nightlife. Going to Cala Millor this time hope it's okay. |
