You can go by car, (it is 260 kilometers) and it will take about 2 and a half hours to drive.
Or you have 4 trains a day (costing about 20 euros each way) from Santa Justa train station in Seville to Granada station.
And the Alsina Graells buses run from the Station in Seville (Estacion Prado de San SebastiƔn) to Granada (cost: 15,45 euros one way, 27,20 euros round trip) and there are 9 buses during the day.
If you drive, stop in Antequera, about half way between, and go to the PARADOR for a nice lunch The "Porra Antequerana" is a local dish, cold soup similar to Gazpacho, but much thicker and covered with chopped egg and ham (or tuna).. Very tasty and refreshing on a hot day. (Enjoy your trip!) |

You could drive or bus - I would say 3-4 hours. Also, don't miss Rhonda - it has a huge gorge and the bull ring where Madonna's take a bow video was done.
Across from the bull ring is a little restuarant where you can sit outside and look at the gorge - they have great chicken.
There is also a cloistered convent that used to be a baby drop now the nuns sell baked goods there. It kind of neat.
Good Luck - I love Spain - have a great time! |
