What is the industry going to survive in future?
According to the articles and research i went thru i saw most of the authors are claiming hospitality industry is the only one going to survivi in the hard economic condition.Do you all agree?
I agree it to some extend because the travel industry predicted growth rate is 91% and the researches are shown that when compared to other sectors like health, food etc the growth rate is high. But i won't accept it is the only industry will survive in the future. Also these days travel became as a necessity rather than a luxury. Because of the stressful working environment people are looking for a break. Short haul holidays are well expected to grow.

... You asked this for Spain xD but on ETB a Basque Language channel... they say that sales of hair dyes, clothes... have gone up since the economic crisis, and sales of premium food's have gone down.
Because people are buying cheaper food, but getting thing's that they can see and feel to make the feel better.
I have bought lot's of clothes... but that is only because most stores have %80 off... I can't afford not to buy them xD
I'm waiting until Wednesday when the stores open again, because in Spain we have 12 day's of Christmas... and tomorrow we get the gift's from the "Magi/3 Wise Kings"

it's kind of like the entertainment/luxury goods industry (beer, wine, etc.).......no matter how sad or depressed or down the economic condition is, luxury goods will survive because the rich will keep buying....lol
