It depends on the club and whether you plan on drinking. I've lived in Madrid most of my life. If you're younger than 18, you can get into any club usually, but you cannot drink any alcohol and you usually have to leave by midnight or 1 a.m. Most clubs allow you to go in at 18. Certain clubs have specific night that are only for 21+. You just have to check with each club. Clubs usually do check ID, especially in Madrid. If you just go to a bar or a small club, you can usually get in with no problems as long as you look slightly older because bars rarely check IDs.

At all of the "discos" in Spain you are supposed to be either 16 or 18 to enter. Either way I was younger on my first trip there and the only place that ever asked for any sort of id was a casino. As long as you are giving them money they don't really care how old you are.
