It's a street full of gorgeous buildings with in many cases equally gorgeous shops. It's pretty much the A-List street for shopping, & also has a number of historic structures and the like. Very posh.

It's a very long street, as its name says, hehe... Seriously, it's the center, there you may buy everything, you have theaters, cinemas, and so on... is the best place to get a hotel...

If planning to visit Madrid La Gran Via is the place to stay is not only beautiful is very convenient to visit different areas of the city:-)
everything is in La Gran Via great restaurants, stores, clubs, etc..
