I would definitely agree with the answer above.
I'd also add, don't miss the waterfront with the sailboats and the fantastic restaurants.
And the clubs and bars in Barcelona are great. Catalonians are definitely easy going and friendly! |

I have spent three of the last fourteen months in Barcelona. MUST SEE attractions include Parc Guell, Montjuic, Las Ramblas, Sagrada Familia and the beaches. I strongly recommend taking the city-organized Barcelona Tourist Bus to get oriented with the city and narrow down what you want to see and do (I rode it each time a guest came to visit me). The ticket is 17 euros but pays for itself with discounts to the major attractions and some restaurants. |
