I quite often go about that time of the time, its usually warm enough to go out with shorts and sleeveless top on through the day. Take a cardigan at night just incase it gets a bit chilly toward the end.

I have also been a few times in Oct and agree that you can usually get away with wearing t-shirts in the day but like the other person has said you do need a coat for the evenings as it gets more chilly then.
