What stores and cities would I be able to find a prom dress in? |
I am traveling to Spain in April and really want to buy my prom dress there. I probally will be buying it in Madrid. I would like to know the names of stores in which you think that I would find a nice prom dress. This really would help me a lot. If you have any other shopping related tips I would really appreciate it. |

Well, I would say "El corte inglés". There are a few in Madrid, these department stores are pretty big and you can find pretty much everything. Everytime I want to buy a suit I go there 'cause there's a lot to chosse from. You have cheap clothing and the most expensive one and young and senior clothing too. In this place they do attend you personally, unless you decline, and help you out.
You could also try "Zara".
You can find stores from these companies in every city in Spain that is big enough, I mean over 100,000 population. They are usually in the city centres, next to all the stores, so if you have a walk through the streets, you'll find them and some others that you may like.
My only tip is to check different places and prices before you decide. Sometimes, if you need some changes in the dress after you try them on (sewing,...), it may take a while to have it ready for you to take so ask your shop assistant. Sales in Spain are in January and in July so you are gonna miss them, unfortunately (sometimes reduced price is 50%!!!!). |

they are specialized in wedding dresses, but they have party dresses too,...worth to have a look!!! great designers at good price as it's pret a porter.
