What type of clothing to take to Spain in November.? |
I will be traveling to Cote de Sol in Spain for the middle two weeks. Wondering what type of clothing I should be taking. |

By November winter will be beginning.
Winter in the Costa del Sol is mild - and if you are lucky you will be able to go out with just a light jacket.
However winter - is the most variable season - so I would recommend you take a rain-coat and something warmer just in case.
Also - take into account that due to the mild climate and most visitors arrive in summer - a lot of accommodation won't have central heating, so be prepared to wear thick socks and woollies when you are indoors, and bring heavy pjs.
Sue ought to know that there is much much more to the Costa del Sol than beaches and shopping.
I am sure that you will find plenty to do that you don't need blazing sun for. Why don't you post the town you will be staying in to get some suggestions. |

Really you should take a mixture. The one thing you can rely on is that it is never really going to be cold. In the evening you will probably need a jumper or something similar. |

Who can say, if you were here today you would need your umbrella but no coat, it's quite warm. November can be cold well to us locals. I suggest you ask the question beginning of November. |

Warm clothing. You are likely to see more clouds than sun during November. Why, I wonder, are you going then? It's probably going to be pretty nasty. Plan to spend more time shopping and touring than on the beach. |
