Javea is fairly quiet but there are plenty of buses if you wish to travel up and down the coast a bit. There is also an hourly train - fares are very cheap.
If you're young , you may prefer visiting Benidorm, if you like boats - try Denia or nice restaurants - go to Calpe
Enjoy !

It's actually Javea, and the boat to Ibiza goes from Denia. Javea is quite nice, beaches are fine too, but it's full of retired ex pat ex forces types that play tennis. Not exactly the life and soul of Spain.
Ibiza on the other hand, well need we say more, if you are young then you will probably wish you had gone to Ibiza for 2 weeks!
£300 to £600 should cover it.

I am finding that flights to Ibiza are cheaper at the moment than the ferry. The ferry takes 2 hours for the fast one and 4 hours for the slow one which takes alot of time out of your 1 day trip.
You could try www.balearia.com though as they have some offers on sometimes which can be as low as 40€ return plus taxes. You would need to take the 8AM ferry in the morning from Denia and the 8pm one from San Antonio on the way back. You have to be in the port 1 hour before you leave.
For flights, you would need to go to Alicante airport from Javea and find your flights on www.vueling.es. It is the only cheap airline that operates that route.
You can definitely get by on 300 pounds which would make about 375€ at the moment as long as that doesn't include your accomodation or travel anywhere. It depends if you are going self-catering though and will have cooking facilities.
Otherwise you can only spend about 20€ a day on food and drink which isn't really a lot if you need to breakfast, lunch and dine out and that is if you only spend 40€ on travel for your trip to ibiza.
Ibiza is very nice to visit but be aware that everything is more exensive than on the mainland because restaurants and bars etc. are only open in the summer season on the whole and have to earn for the whole year.
Javea is beautiful. There is a nice town and some nice beaches. There is an area called Cabo Nao which is all pine trees and paths down to small rocky coves. These are good for snorkelling and getting some quiet beaches.
It is worth exploring the surrounding area too like Calpe and Altea.
Which are the last two weeks of Spain by the way? Is Spain ending?
