Benalmadena which is the next town along from Fuengirola is well worth a visit, it has a beautiful marina, reputedly one of the best in the world, take some bread with you to feed the fish, there are hundreds, a sports complex with ice skating rink, Seaview life centre and Tivoli world amusement park which has something for everyone.

Flight time is approx 2hours 45 minutes to Malaga. Spain is one hour ahead. Haven't stayed in Fuengerola but it's about 15/20 miles from the airport.
