We went to ibiza in august with another family and their daughters were 20, 16 and 15 and they all got served no problem, They do not really check ages like they do in this country.
I take it you will be going to San Antonio? it is alot cheaper there than the rest of the island, with the euro being low at the moment it will no doubt be still bad next year, we paid around 5 euro for a beer and around 6 euro for an alco pop drink.That was in cala Llonga but we visited san Antonio and it is so much cheaper, Ibiza is quite an expensive island to go to now as much of europe..

The legal age for drinking and smoking in the whole of Spain and Europe is 18. That is the law. On the other hand you probably won't be asked for ID as in most places people don't seem to care. The law is there but not usually enforced. It just depends how old YOU LOOK |

cirrhosis is a disease. Caused by drinking too much...and your question was "what is the drink limit"? meaning HOW MANY are you allowed to have per day?
The legal age to buy liquor in Spain is 18. If you are with your parents, THEY are allowed to serve you (even in a public place), but they are expected to teach you responsibility, and not to get you totally sloshed!
What I simply don't understand is why so many people seem to think that Spain is the place to go to get blotto when they aren't legal to get drunk anyplace else! What is the draw? Do people REALLY want to deal with all the problems that occur when you do that? What a wonderful way to spend your vacation! Drunk and stupid, and unable to remember any of it! Hmmm? |
