The limit into the UK from Spain is 3200. From the Canary Islands it is only 200 even though they are still Spain.
As someone else said, the UK has a closed border and customs post. In the rest of Europe you could drive from Portugal to Poland without seeing one customs officer. The border between Portugal & Spain is just a bridge. Nothing else there. You could take a million cigarettes and no one would know. |

Officially, there is no limit. The only problem we have in the UK is that we are an island so there is still a border. When we cross over from Spain to Portugal, there is no border point so you don't get nabbed! Unofficially, I think the limit is now 3800. |

i know in tenerife you can legally only bring back one carton , in the tobacconists in spain they will have notices of limitations !! i know when i went to corfu in the summer the limit was 3000 !! so i'm guessing spain it will be the same !! |
