Whats the weather like in costa brava ? |
We are going to St feliu which is towards the top (north) of the costa brava in a weeks time. Does anyone know how hot and humid it is? Are there a lot of mosquitoes there? thanks sarah |

Have just returned, today, from a week in Pineda, not too far down the coast from St. Feliu, and I'd have to say the weather was great. Most days were between 27 & 30 degrees C and, in fact, exceeded that on a couple of days. The early part of the week started off cloudy, soon turning to glorious sunshine, whilst during the afternoon on Wednesday and Thursday, it became a little windy on the beach. Humidity wasn't too bad, with Friday being, perhaps, the most humid. For a change, I didn't see a mosquito all week nor did I witness anyone having been bitten. As usual, I took a plug-in and tablets, but found it wasn't needed.
This was my 3rd holiday on the Costa Brava, the others having been in June and September, and I would rate the weather on this occasion the best I have known. It was more like one would normally expect on the more southerly Costas.
A bit nearer the date, why not check out the 5,10 & 15 day forecasts.

It is in the hi 70s, not many mozzies out here this year but if you are worried about bites start taking garlic capsuels a few days before you come. They wont bite you then, Cloudy mornings are normal ful sun out by 10 am. no rain for 6 weeks have a good time |

My friend is just back from Costa Brava and it was hotter than its every been in the high 30s and there is lots of mosquito's - start talking antihistamines now and it will help with the mosquito's. |
