It´s normally very good at this time of the year, but this year it is unusually unsettled. September wasn´t the best September I´ve known. As I speak it´s overcast and cool here in Malaga. It rained off and on yesterday. If you are a tourist you may find it warm but to a resident it is on the cool side.
Edit; Thumbs down will NOT change the weather. Obviously a tourist! |

COSTA DEL SOL, 16TH oct. 2007.
Lovely sunny day, clear blue skies, had a thunder storm last night which cleared the air, but not much rain here (Benalmadena).
The bad weather we have had over the past few weeks is rare, one minute in the swimming pool, cooling off, same night dreadful storms, who can tell! |

Today, Thursday 18th, is absolutely beautiful on the Costa del Sol although it has been a bit unsettled this year. Still beats the U.K. hands down though.

Right now the weather in south of Spain is chaotic. They have flooding in many parts, especially around Alicante. You may expect some unsettled spells because of the unusual pattern of the jet stream. |

Look on You Tube for Calpe and Beniarbeig to see what it was like on the Costa Blanca last week. Amazing. Today NOT A CLOUD IN THE SKY! |

variable.
we were in andalucia (west of granada) last weekend. early morning about 14 degrees, mid afternoon getting up to 29 degrees and beautiful.
you'll need a shirt and jacket, or maybe even a jumper if you sit out late in the evenings, a good bedspread or thin quilt at night.
it may have dipped a bit since then - we came back monday night
we always check on msn weather 5 day forecast |

The Balearic islands have had terrible storms, this time of the year to get it warm you need Costa Del sol or Gibraltar or Tenirif areas |

October is our "variable" month. Heavy showers up in the hills but patches of bright sunshine especially in the South. Cooler nights now with less than 20 C. Check out one of the best forecast sites at http://tiempo.meteored.com/weather/weather-Europa-1-Espana.html |
