When to check in for Barcelona?

I am trying to book a flight to Barcelona from Paris however i am flying from Jersey to Paris. The flight gets in a hour before my flight to Barcelona. Will this be enough time to check in or not?

I flew Air France from Boston to Paris (Charles de Gaulle), and then from Paris to Barcelona. I had a 45-minute layover, and made it in time. It helped that my second flight was delayed, but I still would have made the original departure time. If you're already checked in and your luggage is being transferred, you'll be fine. Just check the board of departures when you arrive in Paris and find your gate. Make a beeline there and you should make it.

If you mean you're going to book separate flights, I think that's going to be an issue. An hour is not much time to arrive, get your luggage, check back in, go through security again, and find your gate. Not enough time for an international flight, in my opinion.

Jersey > Paris > Barça ??

If you're booking it as ONE flight i.e. all together though the same company and it is a transfer then you DON'T need to re-check in

You'll get off the aeroplane then follow signs that say something like... flight connections

BUT if your NOT booking them together then I wouldn't take this flight
if your flight is delayed taking off by 5 minutes then landing by 5 mintues and your suite case was last to come off then you must que up again...
and that could be the best case, if your suite case goes missing or something then you'd have not only lost a suite case but a flight to Barça !

So if then not part of the same flight then you do really need at least 2 hours

Airports usually ask you to be there 2hours in advance to check in.. 1hour is leaving it a bit too short - which could result in you being stuck

it should be yes however in europe they have 2hour check in time constraints which means u need to be checked in two hours before but online booking should avoid that problem, you skip everything and just get on the plane. have a luck at your airline company and their rules.

Is it a connecting flight? If so you don't have to check-in again. You would have already checked in in Jersey.
An hour is pushing it a little bit since you'll have to go through customs in Paris...just hope the line isn't long and/or your flight to Paris isn't delayed.

I have flown many times via Paris, most of the time the two legs by the same airline so you would think that they would leave enough time in between flights. However, I can't count the times I got stranded as I missed the second flight. Especially if you are flying in and out of Charles de Gaulle 1 hour is not enough if you have to check in again, it is a huge airport. And even if you do not have to check in again, 1 hour does not leave a lot of room if your first flight is slightly delayed. Hope you have a great time in Barcelona, it is a great place!

Depends on the accuracy of the timing of the arrival in Paris.

We had four hours on our scheduled connection...and, because the first flight was seriously delayed, we had to stay overnight! o_O It was horrific!

When you say "Jersey", I assume you mean Britain? I doubt your flight will be badly delayed.

You don't have to check in ordinarily, when connecting flights on a multi-leg trip.

I don't know, but I will warn you that Barcelona is a very big airport & it will be a long walk xO

SORRY!!!

I live in Spain

Adiós
