The beautiful lakes i belieave you are talking about are north of Malaga towards Alora then a little further to Ardalles. The road is much better now, but there are road works as the duel carrage way is still unfinished.however do not let this stop your visit as you will pass through some of the most beautiful scenery in southern Spain. Have a nice enjoyable time.

We have numerouse lakes on the south costa blanca watch the pink flamingos bath in their natural environment along with other nature. There are also mud baths in the lake south of us where you can plaster yourself with mud let it dry and wash off great for your health.
