Where's best for breakfast in Barcelona? |
Staying at casa fuster but as the breakfast room is in the basement you feel like it's the middle of the night. Can anyone suggest somewhere near passage de garcia (apologies is spelling wrong) where I can get some nice breakfast munch that's not going to be 25 euros! Ta folks |

Buenas Migas is excellent... But any little café where you see plenty of people will have good quality food.
The catalonian breakfast par excellence is "pantomacca" with a slice of serrano ham, youll find it everwhere. People in Barcelona often have fresh croissants and coffee for breakfast also....But there are usually plenty of sweet breads and fresh breads to choose from.

Walk down to the intersection and turn right onto the Diagonal. Just a short ways up, you will see Fargas on your left. Sit at the bar (it's cheaper) and pick out a pasta or small sandwich. The food and service are very good, but the coffee (inexplicably for such an upscale place) leaves something to be desired, though it is drinkable.
If you're on the Ramblas be sure to have a snack at Escriba, between the Boqueria market and the Liceu, going down on the right. Everything there is great, except most of the wait service, who act as if they are doing you a favour, but you can overlook that for the quality of the rest.
Casa Fuster is some fancy hotel! I take it breakfast is not included. |

Please, Passeig de GrĂ cia (in Catalan, as it is on the signs) and Paseo de Gracia in Spanish.
GrĂ cia is now a district in Bcn, where the hotel is and 100 years ago an independent town. Nothing to do with the surname Garcia.
In front of the hotel, going downtown there is a placed called "Buenas Migas" which is OK
