Ibiza. No bull rings there. Lovely at almond blossom time. Beautifully quiet out of season. In-season: Rioja country. |

I'm from Spain. All the towns and cities in Spain are good for live, but are better Madris or Barcelona, because are two big places. And the best cities and towns to live are in the North of the country. |

Costa Del Almeria.
Its a continuation of the Costa Del Sol, so you get the benefit of the sun, but so far without the very high property prices. So get in there quick.
It's also very beautiful and some parts unspoiled by tourism. |

If you like modern cities, Barcelona. Older historic places but still a city, Sevilla. If you like mountains, any place in the Pyrnies, northern spain. If you like the feel of desert and mountains, Cordoba. A city on the ocean, Cadiz or Gibralter. |

Alcola de Herneres, about 20 miles east to Madrid on a good rail line. It boasts the oldest university in Spain and is a lovely smaller city. |

The best place to live in Spain is where the Spanish flock to during their summer holidays. Costa del Sol. They should know best
If your want to live to the full or even only young at heart it’s a fantastic area with so much to see and do.
If you want a quieter life style then the Costa de la Luz for beautiful beaches and plant life, it is very green there.
Wherever you choose you have already made the right on by choosing Spain.
Good Luck! |

Where I live at present is starting to become very popular with people who want to buy property here and that is on the Costa de Luz. I live near Arcos de la frontera which is central for Jerez, Cadiz, Seville and Gibraltar. There are motor ways being built where I live so that will push the price of property up so if you are deciding to buy out in Spain especially this region then I would do so now rather than late.
