Then better in the coast. Salou ( near Barcelona ) or Ibiza ( lot of nightlife ). |

Spend a little more and go somewhere else. In peak season it's going to be hot anyway. Try southern Portugal or the Canary islands |

magaluf for definate, if your into the dance scene you will be in your eliment. i went there this year for a week and well i booked it for a two week holiday next year. if you go to the hotel iesta jungla your 5 minutes away from a brilliant beach full of clear sea and sand an your 2 seconds away from bcm the biggest club in magaluf it does exactly what it says on the tin, with foam parties, water parties, popcorn parties. And its cheap i would spend 60 euros a night which included dinner. Do it you wont regret it. |

I adore puerto banus although it is quite expensive, and most of spain is really really hot in july, once you sunbathe by the sea instead of the pool you'll be fine |

Hi
Just wanted to let you know that while as JessieLoco says, Madrid is great, it is NOT on the beach (it's basically right in the centre of Spain!) and in July it will be unbearably hot.
The other answers on here are a fair selection - depending on whether you want mad party, activities or just chilling by the pool!
Have a great time! |

Ibiza, Benidorm + Lloret de mar.
These places are all hot in july and full of young people.
Lots of clubs and well known for nightlife, especially during peak season which is march-september.
Ibiza can be extremely expensive though so I'd suggest Lloret de mar as its the nicest place + yet still fantastic full of young teenagers.
Theres also some fantastic deals online. For example, my friend got a deal last year. 2 weeks all inclusive £350.
That was a last minute booking though - it will obviously cost more if you book in advance with a travel agent.
Some cheap sites are:
Icelolly
onthebeach
teletext
portland direct
travelsupermarket

For a wild week, book your holiday with club 18-30. At any resort in spain, cos after the first day you will not care where you are.
Adios... |

Try going to Madrid. It's gonna be summer there on July. You could stay in the Ac Santo Mauro Beach Hotel. The hotel is gonna costs about 240 Euros
Try going to these places:
1. Prado- great art gallery. You have got to look at their Flemish collection.
2. Centro de Arte Reina Sofia (where Picasso's Guernica lives)- great art gallery
3. Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum (has a lot of great modern art)- great art gallery
You can buy a special ticket for all three of the galleries above at a discounted price (available at any of the galleries).
4. Monasterio de la Encarnacion- has a lot of great reliquaries
5. Retiro- has a great statue of Lucifer
6. La Gallega- you have got to drink Fino and eat Pulpo there
7. Wander around the city get lost in the foggy streets as people are setting up the huge, sprawling market early Sunday mornings. For a few blocks around one park on the edge it's all miscellaneous odds & ends--not a toro-tshirt in sight and it's amazing! Any guidebook will be able to give you more concrete details, but watch out for pickpocketers!
8. Go to a Flamenco Show at Casa Patas
9. The city itself is the attraction or rather the people in it. It feels so alive and the most interesting parts of the city are not in the broad avenues but in the corners of neighborhoods like La Chueca or the area around Plaza Santa Ana, with its bars and tapa dives.
10. Things get going late and if you really want to see Madrid, plan to have dinner around 10pm (one of the great places won't open its doors for dinner earlier than 9pm) and then go out afterwards to tapas bars and sample everything!
Hope I helped! |
