What would you recommend for dinner and then for a good club atmosphere after? Nothing cheesy. SOmething elegant and fabulously "Barcelona"!
Nothing too touristy, please.
If you mean "cold", all the north coast. It's not too hot in summer.
If you mean "fun": all of them! Spain is fun everywhere! Not only the Peninsula coasts, but don't forget the Islands. Ibiza and Mallorca are great fun and beautiful, and the Canary Islands are great as well..
If you mean "trendy", I'd say Marbella (Málaga) and Mallorca. All the famous-rich-beautiful people go there.
My personal choice are the balearic islands (especially Ibiza) but you can go anywhere, in Spain, you'll have fun for sure!
Besos!

Galicia is really cool. I went in August and it was cold and wet.
It is also cool.
Coolest places are where there are universities nearby.
Personally I think Sitges , just south of Barcelona is Super cool. It has great beaches and facilities and is near Barcelona. ( Forget the Gay scene. There is one but Sitges is still a family resort for all ages)
Palma de Mallorca is Great or Palma Nova with the capital to the east and Magaluff to the west. Mallorca generally is worth a look.

The streets of Barcelona are alive by day or night, providing the visitor with a safe place for strolling around, whether for shopping, eating or simply passing the time of day. There is also 1 mile long city beach with clean soft sand, ideal for sun bathing.
