Go onto the Internet Airport sites for Glasgow, Prestwick and Edinburgh and see which of the budget airlines fly to Teneriffe.(You can do this by looking at the arrival and departure schedules)
Then go into each airline's site, and see what they have to offer on the dates you want to go and return.
You might also look up some on-line budget holidays - after all you don't have to accept the accommodation, you can just use the "flight bit" and go your own way after that.
