I am a high school senior (17 y.o.) and I plan to do a final school project in Spain. I plan to go for three weeks. I need to find a volunteer program that will last that short period of time. I need to find a sponsor (like a program director) to contact. I have no clue where to start because I have checked a couple of volunteer sights online but no one will take a 17 year old for less than a month. Will someone help? Additional Details I speak spanish but formally - through the classroom. I want to learn it fluently through conversation.
As you are a native English speaker, volunteer at Pueblo Ingles in La Alberca, Spain (located in the Salamanca province). As a volunteer, it costs you nothing to stay there, the room and board is covered. At the same time you are helping a Spaniard to learn English. You can sign up for however many weeks you like.

You can try here at SCI International: http://www.sciint.org/workcamp_search.phtml
Usually workcamps take place during the summertime and you can enroll in april or so. Last year I went to Japan (i'm from Spain) and it was a GREAT experience. Oh! And the camp lasted just 2 weeks. You don't have to pay for your food nor your stay, your voluntary work covers it.
But I've looked it up and there are no workcamps in Spain registered right now. You can always e-mail them and ask them to let you know as soon as a workcamp in Spain becomes available.
You can also contact the SCI in Spain directly http://www.ongsci.org/es/index.php I think they will appreciate your interest and make things easier for you and answer all your questions, they were always very kind with me.
Good luck! ;)

Try the Red Cross. You do speak Spanish though? And why did you pick Spain?
