Barcelona is great! but it isn't really Spain...it's Cataluña, and has a whole different flavor. If you want to see Spain, that should not be your only stop...I recommend Madrid, Seville, and Granada. From Madrid you want to see Toldeo, Segovia, and maybe Avila or the Rioja region.
Money can be changed anywhere...best way to do it is to bring some Euros with you (you buy them from your own bank...they should give you the best deal). And then carry credit cards or debit cards to spend for most things...a debit or cash card to use at ATMs in Spain, will probably get you the best exchange. You may have to pay a fee for using your cards at non-affiliated ATMs (and, of course, there are no affiliated ATMs) |

Fly in to Madrid rent a car drive south towards Granada and visit the Alhambra to get in it is about 10 euros a person. Or you can also go to Cordoba and visit the little attractions another 10 euros. All of Spain is beautiful! |
