South of Barcelona. And I was on the Costa Dorada (ok, only for a day) last year...I thought what I saw was pretty.
Of course, I don't travel to go to the beach. I was touring Tarragona for the historical points.

However, you should check into the water park thing...I hear they are in a drought, and the parks are closed. Don't want to arrive and find out your plans need to be changed, and everyone is dissappointed.

Salou is great, Ive been a few times but not the water parks, my daughter is going end august with a 2 year old and 10 year old. It is a family resort for all ages and the fountain at the front is great on a Saturday night for the kids, it changes colour and is very busy. Cap Salou is nice but a bit quieter.

Salou is close by and you can hop on a bus to the park from the seafront, it is ok some nice villas there

Nikki
IDK! Sorry!
