Try any shop that sells Wedding gowns. In my experience, they sell any type of formal gowns, from First Communion, to Wedding gowns, to, I'm sure, dresses for the mothers of the bride and groom...surely they will have something that would work for a deb ball, as well. Here's the thing: you will find that their fashions are very different from what you are used to at home. You might want to try Corte Inglés, as well. I don't know what their formal departments are like.
Check this out...not much in the way of deb gowns in the catalogue...

Valencia has some really fab shops, much better than Ireland (I'm Irish too). They have most of the shops we have too. Someone else mention El Cortes de Ingles - they have a great selection - very similar to Debenhams or Arnotts. Also keep in mind that Zara and Mango are Spanish and have outlets in nearly all cities.. Valencia is beautiful with loads of fab shops. Malaga city centre is also fantastic for shopping. Alicante is like living in Dublin there are so many Irish there so it's worth taking a few trips outside of the area. |
