Depends on when you want to go?

In Winter: Any of the big three cities; Madrid, Barcelona or Seville
In Summer: Any of the coastal resorts or the islands.

Be prepared to work longish hours but to do so with a number of people who are doing exactly the same thing. I will also warn you that the nights can be longer than the days!!!

I used to let a couple of rooms in my place in Madrid to a pair of Irish lads at cost in exchange for "food and beverage considerations" in the bar they worked and based on their experiences I wrote the following guide to summer jobs here in bars and restaurants. I hope its of use.

You could try Benidorm plenty to do and good Irish Bars.

Head to Seville - it's big enough to be able to explore and have lots of little streets, great shops, restaurants and bars but small enough to be able to find your way round and walk/get a cheap taxi home at the end of the night!
Also, the closest beach is about 35-40 mins away which you will definitely appreciate! It has great weather and also 2-3 hours drive from Sierra Nevada if you fancy going skiing/snowboarding, or a few hours drive from Portugal if you fancy a change.
It's really easy to get to, with the Seville airport in the centre, or Jerez about 45 mins away. Also, Tarifa (great for kite surfing) is an hour or 2 away and Marbella and Gibraltar are also fun if you want to get away for a day or 2!
Oh, and there are some wicked Irish bars there too...check out Flaherty's by the Cathedral!
