There are lots of restaurants along the beach in Barcelona, alot with various types of food to choose from!

I live here and have been to quite a few, they are all pretty good, but it depends on what your looking for.

One excellent restaurante is called Mondo, its actually near the I-MAX Cinemas by the port, you get a lovely view of the port while you eat, very romantic!

Hope this helps!

A good tip is to pick a restaurante that is busy, this is always a good sign!

From Barcelona, it's about 450 miles to the beach, so take something nourishing. Like a stone of King Edwards or a million crisps.

There is a bar called Carpe Diem Lounge Club (CDLC) right on the beach, very cool and the food is quite good, Asian influenced -the drinking is better... You walk down La Rambla and turn left, past the marina, about 20 mins walk and it's almost at the end of the playa. There are lots of little bars and restaurants the whole way along.

Anywhere where ther are lots of spanish at mealtimes, thats the sign of a reasonable place!

Its a bit silly to ask on here for recommendations as peoples tastes vary so much, plus there are so many small places, all offering excellent service and value for money!

Lots of nice restaurants near the beach. There is an excellent website with restaurants in Barcelona, that allows you to search for location as well...... A lot depends on your budget, as for example restaurants in the Port Vell are nice and have a great view over the old port, but are expensive. Restaurants in the Barceloneta used to be a lot less expensive, but the area is now trendy, so prices have gone up.....
Have fun!

Go to La Barceloneta which is the area to the left of the Port Vell (old port) as you look at the sea.

There are loads of restaurants along there, many specialising in seafood, and when you get to the beach you'll find 2 or 3 places. They'll be packed at the weekend, so be prepared to queue for a while.
