Where should I go to vacation in Spain at the beach?
I want to go to a warm sunny clean beach in Europe. I live in Germany and I would like it to be fairly cheap, but also clean and not run down. I am considering Spain and Italy. I don't care about partying, I just want to relax with my husband and maybe go snorkeling. Any suggestions? Thanks!
I would suggest San Juan - close to Alicante or Torremolinos o Benalmadena -close to Malaga .There are a lot of cheap flights from Germany to Alicante and Malaga -but those cities are a bit overcrowded during the summer so if u want to relax - small pueblos which are about 0,5 h far from them are pretty good solution

Some of the best clean beaches are on the Atlantic coast between Tarifa and Chiclana.
There is a fantastic Aldeana hotel near Chiclana. It is right on La Barossa beach, was only built a few years ago and has excellent food. (well it did when I was there!).
Hire a car to escape from the hotel as snorkelling is never good off a beach. You will need to go to near Trafalgar for rocks.
Have a fantastic holiday!

The streets of Barcelona are alive by day or night, providing the visitor with a safe place for strolling around, whether for shopping, eating or simply passing the time of day. There is also 1 mile long city beach with clean soft sand, ideal for sun bathing.

If I were you, I would maybe consider Greece. It is absolutely gorgeous there. I also went snorkeling there and it was an amazing experience. Best of all, there are no sharks! They have fantastic beaches there. I would definitely recommend it.
